SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The story of Gabe Vincent just keeps getting bigger and better.

The 2018 UCSB graduate agrees to a 3-year, 33 million dollar free agent contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 27-year old Vincent had a strong playoff run with the Miami Heat helping his team advance to the NBA Finals this past season.

After averaging 9.4 points per game during the regular season, Vincent turned up his offensive production in the postseason scoring 20 or more points in five playoff games including a 29 point performance in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston.

Vincent suffered an acl injury during his junior season at UCSB and did not get drafted following his senior year with the Gauchos.

But he made a name for himself in the NBA G-League and carved out a starting role with the Heat.
