Mayo wins rematch against DP teammate for Channel League Singles Title

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Turnabout is fair play.

Mel Mayo defeated her Dos Pueblos High School teammate Ellie Triplett 6-3, 6-3 to win the Channel League Singles Championship.

Last year Triplett beat Mayo for the league crown.

The doubles finals was an all-Santa Barbara matchup won by sisters Nicole and Caitlyn Buist 6-1, 6-1 over the Dons team of Ella Weathers and Mary Moses.
