Nipomo falls in semifinals at top-seed Kerman in boys basketball Central Section playoffs

KERMAN, Calif.- Nipomo stayed close to Kerman all game long but they could not upset the top-seed in a CIF-Central Section Division IV semifinal as the Titans lost 63-54.

Nipomo trailed 45-39 after three quarters and cut the deficit to 3 points early in the fourth quarter but the Lions held them off to advance to Friday's title game against Tulare Western.
