Talented San Marcos girls water polo team dominates rival Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos is just too good this year for Santa Barbara.

Sophie Panossian scored a game-high 4 goals as the visiting Royals dominated the Dons 14-3.

The Royals led 4-0 after one period and 7-1 at half.

Seven different players scored for the Royals who improved to 4-0 in the Channel League.

San Marcos is currently ranked #5 in the latest CIF-SS Division 1 poll and will play #3 Foothill on Saturday at 10am at Santa Barbara High School.
