Carpinteria defeats Santa Ynez in girls water polo playoff game

CARPINTERIA, Calif. - The Warriors got revenge as they turned the tables on Santa Ynez to win a CIF-SS Division 4 first round playoff game 8-7.

The Pirates beat Carpinteria both times in the regular season by one goal but this time it was the Warriors on the winning side.

They will play at top-seed El Segundo on Thursday.
