SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Gigi Gritt got the big hit that no one else could get all game long.

She delivered a game-winning walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh inning that snapped a scoreless tie and give San Marcos the outright Channel League title beating Dos Pueblos 1-0.

The Royals loaded the bases and Gritt blasted a drive to right-center off of Georgia Wilson to easily score Emma Foster and the celebration was on as the sophomore Gritt was mobbed by her teammates.

All game long San Marcos and Dos Pueblos had runners in scoring position but neither side could not scratch out a run.

For the second time in three days senior Allie Fryklund shutout Dos Pueblos.

Before the game the Royals honored Fryklund, their lone senior who signed earlier this year with Arizona Christian.

San Marcos wins the Channel League at 14-1 while Dos Pueblos ends up 12-3 in league.

The CIF-SS playoff pairings are released on Saturday.
