Santa Ynez star running back Logan Ast is headed to Cal Poly

SANTA YNEZ, Calif. - After a sensational spring football season, Logan Ast signs with Cal Poly and will be a preferred walk-on for the Mustangs.

The Santa Ynez High School senior running back was celebrated on campus in front of family and students.

He set a single-game school record this spring with 327 rushing yards in a win against Dos Pueblos.

Ast also caught 3 touchdown passes against Cabrillo and scored 4 touchdowns against Santa Barbara with 163 yards rushing.
