Four seniors at Ventura High School helpled make history for the Cougars boys tennis program

VENTURA, Calif. - Ventura High School boys tennis seniors Tyler Biedebach, Chase Currie, Noah Laber and Aaron Palmisano helped make history a few years back.

As sophomores they were key members of the Cougars CIF-SS Division 3 championship team that beat Troy 14-4 in the finals.

It was Ventura's first ever CIF-SS boys tennis title in program history.

This year as seniors they were doing well in the rugged CIF-SS Division I with a number five ranking when the season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Number one singles player Noah Laber will play tennis at Middlebury College in Vermont while Currie, who played on Ventura's #1 doubles team will attend Cal Poly and study engineering.
