Salute to Seniors: San Marcos has 4 athletes going to the next level

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos High School had to get creative to celebrate their four latest student-athletes who recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play at the next level.

Following social distancing guidelines, Aaron Solis organized a Zoom meeting where the athletes could be recognized for their accomplishments in sports and in the classroom.

Connor Hess signs with Westmont College for track, girls water polo player Riley Christen is Fresno State-bound, while boys swimmers Hunter May and Jayden Frances sign with Cal Baptist and the University of Chicago respectively.

San Marcos has had 14 student-athletes this school year commit to playing sports in college.
