SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Gretchen Scherrei may have had her spring season cut short in track and field but she had a great high school running career at Foothill Technology in Ventura.

She was 14th in the state of California last year in cross-country and qualified for the state meet four years in a row.

Scherrei helped the Dragons win 2 State titles, two CIF SS titles, one State runner-up finish and one CIF SS runner-up.

She will run at Westmont College next season.
