Bishop Diego is trying to pull off double CIF basketball titles

Cardinals hope to celebrate two

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- Two is better than one.

Bishop Diego High School will play a CIF championship doubleheader as both the girls and boys basketball teams will play for a title.

The Cardinals girls hoop team faces Ganesha of Pomona at 2pm on Saturday, February 29 in a CIF-SS Division 5-A final.

The Bishop boys will follow at 4pm against Arrowhead Christian of Redlands in a CIF-SS Division 5-AA championship game.

Both games are at Colony High School in Ontario.

The girls enter with a 23-8 record while the boys are 21-11 after winning just seven games all of last season.
