Dons soccer ends a terrific season with a 1-0 loss to Cathedral in the quartefinals

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- The Dons had some early scoring chances and some more very late in the game but they could never score in a 1-0 loss to Cathedral in a CIF Division 1 quarterfinal game.

The loss ends Santa Barbara's outstanding season at 21-2-4.

Cathedral scored the lone goal in the first half on a counterattack after a Dons corner kick.

The Phantoms Alejandro Mendez made a nice pass to Diego Barahona who scored in the 28th minute.
