Dons win Channel League title in boys water polo

Goleta, Calif. - The Santa Barbara Dons built up a 9-3 lead in the third quarter and just held off Dos Pueblos 10-8 to win the Channel League Tournament championship which also gives the Dons the league crown.

It was the fourth time in as many games this year that Santa Barbara beat rival Dos Pueblos.

Dylan Fogg scored a game-high five goals including four in the first half as the Dons led 8-3 at intermission.

But DP roared back scoring five straight goals in the third quarter to pull within one goal, 9-8 heading into the fourth quarter.

Sammy Arshadi scored a team-high three goals and Ethan Parrish added two for Dos Pueblos.

The only goal of the fourth quarter was scored by Fogg.

Chase Raisin added three goals for the Dons.
