Gauchos hit rough patch, lose for 4th time in past 6 games

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - UCSB slugged three homes runs, two by catcher John Newman Jr but the Gauchos lost at home to Santa Clara 7-4.

The Gauchos are 18-7 on the season but have dropped four of their last six games.

UCSB allowed five runs in the final three innings.
