Gauchos pick up rare win at UC Irvine behind big night from Andre Kelly

IRVINE, Calif. - Andre Kelly scored a game-high 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as UCSB won at the Bren Center 73-65.

It is the Gauchos first win at UC Irvine since the 2015-'16 season and first for head coach Joe Pasternack in his sixth season at UCSB.

Miles Norris added 16 points with a game-high 12 rebounds.

Norris drilled a three-pointer with just over 30 seconds left to push the lead to 6 points as the Gauchos improved to 14-3 for the season.

The result left both teams 5-1 in the Big West.
