DP Alum Jordan Williams plays on final Sonoma St. water polo team

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Senior Jordan Williams is part of the last women's water polo team at Sonoma State.

The school is eliminating that sport as well as men's and women's tennis due to budget woes because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The school will save close to 800,000 with the elimination of those three sports.

Williams is a Dos Pueblos High School graduate and a 2-time All-American at Sonoma State who complete at the NCAA Division II level.

The University of Cincinnati recently dropped men's soccer to save money.
