UCSB star Billingsley selected in first round of MLS SuperDraft

Noah Billingsley was selected in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft by Minnesota.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-

Senior wingback Noah Billingsley of the UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team was drafted 18th overall in the first round of the 2020 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by Minnesota United FC on Thursday morning.

Billingsley becomes the 18th UCSB player selected in an MLS SuperDraft and the seventh to go in the first round.

He will join another former Gaucho and New Zealand native in Minnesota in centerback Michael Boxall, who played at Harder Stadium from 2007-10.
