Fox News’ Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt celebrate with Trump at Mar-a-Lago ahead of wedding

By Brian Stelter, CNN

(CNN) — Fox News stars Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt are getting married on Saturday. The couple wanted to celebrate with President Donald Trump, so on Friday evening they held a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner at Mar-a-Lago.

Both the president and first lady Melania Trump were present at the celebration, sources confirmed to CNN. Top administration officials and familiar Fox faces were also in attendance. The president is not expected to attend Saturday’s wedding ceremony, which will take place at a separate location.

Trump was overheard discussing the wedding weekend with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis earlier in the day. The president then said to reporters, “We’re gonna go over and celebrate with Sean Hannity and Ainsley at Mar-a-Lago. They’re doing a big, beautiful thing.”

Hannity, the longtime 9 p.m. host on Fox News, and Earhardt, a co-host of the “Fox & Friends” morning show, were dubbed the “first couple of Fox News” when they started dating.

The relationship was first reported in 2020, not long after Hannity confirmed that his first marriage had ended in divorce. Earhardt has been married twice.

Hannity and Earhardt have tried to keep their relationship private, but they did announce in December 2024 that Hannity had proposed to her over Christmas.

“Great news about Sean and Ainsley,” Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time. “They are officially engaged to be married! There are no finer people than these, and there will be no finer couple.”

Both Hannity and Earhardt are vocal supporters of the president on-air and personal friends with him off-air.

“I’ve had a personal relationship with President Trump for over 30 years,” Hannity said in a statement published by Fox on Friday night. “When Ainsley and I began planning this celebration, it was important to us that he could be part of this special time in our lives.”

Thus, they chose Mar-a-Lago as the party venue. Hannity said they “paid fair market value for the venue,” seemingly getting ahead of any questions about the financial arrangement.

CNN has reached out to the Trump Organization for comment on the arrangement.

Attendees at the rehearsal dinner included Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; Sens. Tim Scott and Darline Graham; Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott; Fox News president and executive editor Jay Wallace; and Earhardt’s fellow morning show co-hosts.

“To celebrate this beautiful season of our lives surrounded by the people we love most is truly a dream come true,” Earhardt said in a statement published by Fox.
