Preliminary hearing set for Golden State Killer case in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The court entered a not guilty plea and denied all special allegations on his behalf on Wednesday in Sacramento.
Ventura County District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced that Joseph De'Angelo, 74, Bath, New York was arraigned Wednesday in Sacramento.
DeAngelo is alleged the "Golden State Killer".
The court entered a not guilty plea.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in Division Nine of the Sacramento County Superior Court.
DeAngelo remains in custody without bail in the Sacramento County Jail.
The Golden State Killer murdered four people in Goleta back in 1979 and 1981.
The Golden State Killer murdered two people in Ventura in 1980.
