Thieves target home under construction following Thomas Fire
VENTURA, Calif.
Julie Myers and her husband lost almost everything in the Thomas Fire and now their home under construction has been targeted by thieves.
The Myers found her wedding ring in the ashes before they started rebuilding their home.
They put up Ring cameras in the yard that show thieves coming and going on two recent nights.
The thieves took off with a trailer, paint, extension cords and other items.
The Myers reported the crime to Ventura police and hope someone will recognize and report the thieves..
