LOMPOC, Calif. - California Highway Patrol and the Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a car crash involving three vehicles on Harris Grade Road in Lompoc.

The crash was called in around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday just north of the summit.

Santa Barbara County Fire Public Information Officer Daniel Bertucelli said there are four patients in total, three with minor injuries and one with moderate injuries. All patients were transported for Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.

All three vehicles are reported to have minor to moderate damage. No extrication was required to remove the patients from their vehicles.

It does not appear that the road will be shut down, however, the road was blocked by the accident until tow trucks arrived to move the vehicles.

The roadway was clear as of 11:32 a.m.

We do not yet know the cause of the crash as it is currently under investigation.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
