One man hospitalized after Wednesday afternoon shooting in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, Calif. – One man was hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting in the area of Donovan and Broadway near an open business on Wednesday.
On Dec. 13, 2023, officers with Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) were dispatched to the scene of a reported shooting around 11:23 a.m.
According to SMPD, officers discovered evidence of a shooting at the scene and found out that a man with at least one gunshot who had been transported via private vehicle to a local hospital in critical condition.
