Head-on collision in Buellton kills two 23-year-old women, hospitalizes one 22-year-old Sunday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – California Highway Patrol in Buellton reported a head-on collision on Santa Rosa Road killed two 23-year-old women on Sunday, and one 22-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital for major injuries.

CHP identified the two women killed in the crash as Cassidy Falk of Solvang and Alia Griffin of Buellton. Officers also identified the man hospitalized as Morgan Bouslaugh of Buellton.

CHP said Bouslaugh was driving westbound at about 40mph when Falk and Griffin, driving eastbound at about 60mph, crossed the double yellow lines for unknown reasons and crashed head-on into Bouslaugh.

The crash happened around 5:12 p.m., CHP said both Falk and Griffin were pronounced dead at the scene, and Bouslaugh was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for major injuries.

CHP Buellton is currently investigating this crash.
