Cessna safely touches down north of Santa Ynez after mechanical issues, no injuries

SANTA YNEZ, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Fire responded to a downed aircraft around two miles north of Highway 154 Monday afternoon. The single occupant safely landed the Cessna 172 and suffered no injuries.

The Cessna 172 experienced mechanical difficulties and was unable to return to the Santa Ynez Airport before is safely landed around 3:09 p.m. detail Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
