Guadalupe man arrested Thursday in connection to 2018 murder
GUADALUPE, Calif. – Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) detectives arrested a 21-year-old Guadalupe resident without incident Thursday afternoon in connection to a 2018 murder investigation.
The murder of Adrian Zamora Alvarez on Dec. 8 of 2018 has remained open and active since the 18-year-old was shot and died near the intersection of Enos and Thornburg detail SMPD.
According to SMPD, the shooting has been deemed gang-related and evidence gathered earlier this year lead to the warrant and arrest on Thursday.
The 21-year-old arrested Thursday was booked on charges of murder and gang enhancement and is being held on a two million dollar bail detail SMPD.
