Pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by a car in Lompoc Monday night

LOMPOC, Calif. – A pedestrian has been hospitalized with major injuries after they were struck Monday night by a vehicle described as a two-door white sedan.

Lompoc Police Department (LPD) officers were dispatched Monday night around 9:48 p.m. to a report of a hit-and-run involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian had been walking northbound on Q Street and was crossing W. College Avenue when they were stuck by a vehicle that continued westbound on College Avenue detail LPD.

According to LPD, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to Marian Medical Center for treatment. Their status was not released.
