Santa Maria Police arrest Guadalupe man for felonies related to arranging and meeting minor with intent to engage in sexual acts

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – A 26-year-old Guadalupe man was arrested Tuesday night in a parking lot where he intended to meet what he believed was a 14-year-old girl he met via social media.

The man was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on felony charges related to arranging and meeting a minor with the intent to engage in sexual acts.

According to Santa Maria Police Department, Detectives conducted an operation in the city that led to the arrest around 7:12 p.m. Tuesday night.
