February is the final month for Santa Maria High School district’s “Cash for College” workshops
SANTA MARIA, Calif. – February is the last month for Santa Maria Joint Unified High School District's "Cash for College" workshops.
The deadline for the Free Application for Free Student Aid, or FAFSA, and the California Dream Act is March 2, 2023.
The final "Cash for College" workshops for Santa Maria Joint Unified High School District students will be held at the following dates, times and locations:
- Pioneer Valley High School Library from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 and Feb. 23
- Nipomo High School Library on Feb. 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Santa Maria High School Library on Feb. 15 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Righetti High School's Plato Labs on Feb. 7 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Paso Robles High School's Career Center on Feb. 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Cabrillo High School Room B-8 on Feb. 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Lompoc High School Room B-7 on Feb. 16 from 3:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Arroyo Grande High School Library on Feb. 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Cuesta College's 3400 Building on Feb. 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Allan Hancock College's Academic Resource Center on Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Students will be assisted on a first come, first served basis.
Here is what you should bring if you plan on getting help filling out a FAFSA or California Dream Act application:
- Driver’s license
- Date of Birth
- Student and parent(s)/adoptive parent(s) Social Security Number (or ITIN number for CA Dream Act)
- Permanent resident number (if applicable)
- Student and parent(s)/adoptive parent(s) 2021 Income tax return
- Student and parent(s)/adoptive parent(s) 2021 W-2 forms
- Parent(s)/adoptive parent(s) marital status
