No injuries reported in minor Santa Maria City bus and local school bus collision

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – The Santa Maria Joint Unified High School District reported a minor collision happened between one of its buses and a City of Santa Maria bus on Monday afternoon.

There were no injuries reported, according to Kenny Klein, spokesperson for SMJUHSD.

Klein said the crash happened in front of Pioneer Valley High School around 2:06 p.m., and each bus ended up with a few minor scrapes.

The SMJUHSD bus was transporting about 50 students to the west side of town, according to Klein.
