Lompoc Unified School District students to get COVID vaccinated at Lompoc Valley Medical Center

LOMPOC, Calif.– With parental permission, Lompoc Unified School District students over the ages of 12 will take a field trip to Lompoc Valley Medical Center and get COVID vaccinated.

According to hospital spokeswoman Nora Wallace, this is set to begin on Wednesday.

The district will be providing transportation to students who are going to get vaccinated.

Santa Barbara County Public Health is partnering with other school districts in the county as well as hospitals to get as many students over the ages 12 to get vaccinated against the virus.
