Santa Maria Airport adds Phoenix flight

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Airport will soon have service to Phoenix.

The airport announced Thursday that Allegiant Air will provide nonstop flights from Santa Maria to the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport beginning in November.

Allegiant already offers a Santa Maria to Las Vegas flight.

Most flights via Allegiant are nonstop and the airline is considered to be one of the most affordable domestic airlines in the country.

The Santa Maria Airport is also set to offer service from United Airlines beginning in March 2021.
