Teen accused of making threats against Arroyo Grande High School

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Arroyo Grande Police arrested a 17-year-old on suspicion of making criminal threats over social media.

The threats suggested that the violence would be carried out at Arroyo Grande High School.

The media posts also included a photo of a male posing with a replica handgun.

Officers worked with school personnel to identify the teen.

A replica 1911 BB gun was seized during the arrest.

The teen was booked into San Luis Obispo Juvenile Services Center on Saturday.
