Pac Biz Times reports: Sonos layoffs

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Santa Barbara-based Sonos, maker of sound systems, announced another round of layoffs at its tech company, which has gone global.

Jorge Mercado, business reporter with the Pacific Coast Business Times, delved into the reasons for the cuts, including poor earnings. He shared his findings from his recent article during NewsChannel's talk-back segment on Thursday.

He also gave insight into the overall state of tech layoffs in the city and the impact remote work is having on the industry.
