Serial burglar arrested on Cabrillo Blvd

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.– A 47-year-old man was arrested in the area of 300 east Cabrillo Blvd. for a series of commercial burglaries over the course of seven months throughout the county, according to the Santa Barbara Police Department.

Santa Barbara Police officers detained the 47-year-old for a municipal code violation while out on patrol when they identified the man as the suspect in the serial burglaries.

Santa Barbara Police proceeded to arrest the man and booked him into the Santa Barbara County Jail on four counts of felony commercial burglary and one count of felony identity theft.

Law enforcement referred two other felony commercial burglary charges to the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office for potential additional charges.
