Vehicle rollover on Hwy 101 near Gaviota tunnel
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Rescue crews responded to a vehicle rollover on the northbound side of Highway 101 near Gaviota tunnel early Wednesday morning.
A Ford Ranger went over the side of the highway early around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Two adults were in the vehicle, one male and one female. Both were transported to a hospital by ground with moderate injuries.
Firefighters had to use rope systems to rescue them, and continued through the morning to work with chainsaws to create a path for tow truck and vehicle removal.
