SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – There's new hope for people living with type one diabetes.

Sansum Diabetes Research Institute right here in Santa Barbara was one of several research sites for new groundbreaking technology.

Dr. Kristin Castorino sat down with News Channel 3-12's Alys Martinez and Joey Buttitta about advancements in diabetes research.
