SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A single-engine plane made an emergency landing at Santa Barbara Airport Monday afternoon.

According to the Santa Barbara Airport, a Cessna 172 propeller plane made the emergency landing at the airport due to an oil leak. The emergency was canceled as soon as the plane landed, airport officials said.

The plane landed around 1:45 p.m. and the plane taxied under its own power to a mechanic's shop on airport property.

The pilot operated with "an abundance of caution," airport officials said.
