Two injured in Highway 101 rollover crash along Gaviota Coast

GAVIOTA COAST, Calif. - Two people were extricated from their vehicle Tuesday morning near Vista Point on Highway 101.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department arrived at the scene around 8:10 a.m. The Toyota sedan had rollover before landing back on its wheels. Both patients were taken to Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries, according to fire officials.

Highway 101 northbound was blocked for a short time while emergency crews responded to the accident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
