Inaugural ‘State of San Luis Obispo County’ delivered Thursday
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – San Luis Obispo County will hold its inaugural "State of the County" during a two-hour address Thursday afternoon.
During the event, District 1 Supervisor John Peschong will speak, as well as Acting County Administrative Officer Rebecca Campbell.
According to the county, topics to be discussed by the speakers include:
- a status check of where we stand as a County financially
- a preview of capital projects in the works
- an overview of County services and how they are being implemented in the community
- a look at the challenges ahead
- programs and projects in the works
In addition, a panel of key economic partners will examine opportunities and challenges in the financial sector of San Luis Obispo County. There will also be videos on key issues presented throughout the event.
The "State of San Luis Obispo County" will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Embassy Suites in San Luis Obispo and will be streamed live on the county's YouTube site.
