CSU student workers vote to unionize
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Over 20-thousand student assistants made history today forming the largest undergraduate student union in the country.
Results show 97 percent of over 7-thousand students voted yes to forming a union.
Students say the union support will ensure better pay, sick time and more hours.
Viewing parties were held Friday morning across the state including on the central coast at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
