Arroyo Grande celebrates National Farmers Market Week

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. – National Farmers Market Week saw another large turnout Wednesday morning at the Smart & Final Grocery Store in Arroyo Grande.

The weekly farmers market features locally grown fresh produce, vegetables and fruit as well as other items from local vendors.

Several communities on the Central Coast have a farmers market every week, sometimes twice a week.

Farmers markets have become very popular in recent years as more people seek fresh grown produce at bargain prices.

The farmers market in Arroyo Grande is held every Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Smart & Final parking lot on Grand Avenue.
