City of San Luis Obispo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Local non-profits are invited to apply to the new Cultural Arts & Community Promotions grant program (CACP).

Formerly known as the Cultural Grants-In-Aid, CACP looks to fund marketing and advertising of an event or activity of cultural, social, and or recreational benefit to the residents and visitors of the City of San Luis Obispo.

The 2023–24 CACP Grant Program is funded through the City’s Promotional Coordinating Committee (PCC).

The City of San Luis Obispo evaluates applications on a merit-based criterion. Organizations interested in applying for the grant are invited to attend the CACP Grant Informational Session Webinar on July 31 at 1 p.m.

The City will award a total of $60,000 in grants this fall.

Eligible events must take place between January 1-June 30, 2024.

The deadline to apply is September 1 at 5 p.m. To apply, visit www.slocity.org/CACP.
