Assemblymember Dawn Addis secures nearly $1.24 million for Arroyo Grande Creek Levee

KEYT

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – Assemblymember Dawn Addis announced Tuesday she secured $1,236,000 for the Arroyo Grande Creek Levee.

This amount comes out of the overall $4.75 million Addis secured for the Central Coast in the 2023-24 State Budget, allocating funds to projects around the Central Coast.

“I’m thrilled that our state budget is prioritizing these resources for the Central Coast,” Addis said. “These investments will improve the health, safety and well-being of people across the Central Coast by enhancing coastal flood and sea level rise resilience and providing needed health care services and important infrastructure in our communities.”

The Budget Act of 2023, once approved by both houses of the Legislature, will move to the Governor for approval, according to Addis' announcement.
