GROVER BEACH, Calif. - The City of Grover Beach has declared a Level 2 Water Shortage and will implement mandatory water conservation measures.

This comes one year after a Stage 1 Water Shortage Declaration was made by the city in May of 2021.

The city will be monitoring customer water activities on a monthly basis.

The City of Grover Beach also plans to develop a wastewater recycling project in collaboration with Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande.

Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and Lompoc continue to encourage residents to conserve water during the statewide drought.
