The California Avocado Festival returns for its 40th year!

CARPINTERIA, Calif. (KEYT) – The California Avocado Festival returns this week for its 40th year!

Festival Director Olivia Sorgman joined your morning news to share what attendees can expect this year.

The festival returns from October 2nd to the 4th in Downtown Carpinteria on Linden Avenue between Carpinteria Avenue and 6th Street.

The festival will feature over 60 bands, 4 stages, 50 arts and crafts and commercial vendors, 15 food vendors and over a dozen non-profits for you to support.

All proceeds from the festival will go to the Carpinteria Education Foundation and the Future Farmers of America.
