Gas prices drop suddenly on Central Coast

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Average gas prices are dropping nationwide, including Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

According to GasBuddy, the average price in Santa Barbara has fallen 25.7¢ per gallon in the last week alone.

In Ventura, prices are down an average of 32.2¢ per gallon from last week’s $6.24.

News Channel 3-12 will be speaking to drivers about how they feel about this sudden change, and if it will contribute to more flexibility in terms of monthly expenses.
