San Luis Obispo restaurant and nightclub to close after 45 years of service

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Graduate, a well-known restaurant and nightclub in San Luis Obispo, announced it will be closing its doors at the end of August after 45 years of service to the community.

The business made the announcement on Facebook where they shared the following message:

"The Graduate would like to thank everybody who has come by for our dining or nightclub nights or the last 45 years.. we first started this establishment in 1975 and have seen many trends and many faces come and go.

It is with great sadness that we let you all know that The Graduate will be closing its doors for good at the end of August.

We are sorry to go and want to wish everyone to be well and stay safe."

The Graduate

The Graduate is known for its weekly events including country nights, Latin music nights and oldies. It's also known for being the largest nightclub in the SLO area.

The Graduate is located at 990 Industrial Way in San Luis Obispo.
