Crews contain 1.4 acre fire in rural San Luis Obispo County north of Soda Lake

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – Crews contained a 1.4 acre fire north of Soda Lake on Black Bear Rd and Belmont Trail according to Cal Fire San Luis Obispo.

According to San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, the fire was fully contained at 4:20 p.m. and fire crews are expected to remain on the scene for the next several hours due to overhaul efforts of an outbuilding that was fully consumed by the fire.

At least six units were called to the scene in addition to an air attack unit.

Cal Fire SLO said the call time for this fire was 2:13 p.m. on Tuesday.
