Orcutt Academy High School plans drive-in theater style graduation

OAHS officials honored valedictorian Isabel Guerrero at her home Wednesday.

ORCUTT, Calif. - Orcutt Academy High School is finalizing plans for graduation. This comes as schools across the country try to figure out how to honor seniors safely.

They plan on having a drive -in theater style graduation.

The location is still being finalized, but school officials say they hope it will be special and of historical significance for these students.

Students will celebrate with family in their cars.

The school is putting together a special video, which will incorporate every student in their cap and gown.

School officials also surprised the valedictorian and salutatorian today at their homes. They brought them big banners for their houses, as well as medals.

They will also be honored in the ceremony, which is expected to last around an hour.
