Santa Barbara releases August tax results

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The City of Santa Barbara releases its August 2020 tax results.

The City collection over $1.5 million on the hotel bed tax for the month of August.

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect the local tourist industry, as that revenue is 33% lower than August 2019.

However, the City says revenues have been increasing each month since the start of the pandemic.
